Teenie had her birthday this weekend, so Emmanuel and I took her out and about geocaching in Pasadena. Little did we know there'd be so many amazing things to find (except for caches, we only found 1 of the 3 we went out for).

First up is the house with the mosaic tiles the proudly declare the owner a professional in the movie industry.

We had "Zushi" for lunch - lots of fresh fish and tasty rice (and a happy little sister)

Finally we stopped at "Syrup" in Downtown Los Angeles for dessert that night - Teenie had a chocolate crêpe, I had an asian pear, bacon and gouda grilled cheese sandwich on walnut raisin bread, and Eman had this fancy latté with his crêpe.

Bunny and I went to Stern Grove a few weeks ago when I was visiting; the park is basically a giant hole in the city filled with Redwoods and a huge concert venue where they host a summer concert series. We spent most of our time at the little pond trying to attract the two ducks to come over to us. It's a little hidden oasis in the outskirts of the city.
